The Academy was founded in 2000 and brings together scientists, engineers and specialists in the field of systems research. Its goal is to consolidate the efforts of the scientific community in developing a comprehensive systems approach to pressing problems of science and technology: systems analysis of natural and technological processes, the transition to renewable energy sources, and the creation of environmentally clean technologies and resource-saving production.
The Academy comprises 21 sections covering key areas of fundamental and applied science, as well as the Academic Outreach Center for Advanced Training of Research Personnel (AOCATRP), which regularly hosts open online lectures by leading IASS academicians.
